I guess I'm just a cynical old curmudgeon. :-)
If it is real, it is a beautiful car with great history.
He says in the ad it is "licensed in the US". The big problem is this: unless it is properly registered in the United States currently, and has a Florida registration (where he says it is located), the car will have to go back to Canada and then through the proper Customs procedures to legally acquire the paperwork to return to the US for registration. I went through all sorts of insanity with NJ DMV and Customs when I brought the black Formula back in 2012 from British Columbia.
