At first I was thinking poke a hot pin through it, but I see they have metal in the center of them.
I could measure the NOS one for you if it would help? Are your windows in? could you install the strip & somehow mark the backside of the strip through the hole, remove it again & drill it out? Might also consider making a new hole through the strip & door at the same time provided you can move it just far enough so you don't partially hit the original hole? guess theres a few options.

Did you find the fuzzys with the chrome piping? When I ordered mine nobody had them for the 68 convertibles. I called Ames & they said they didn't know when or if another run would be made. I ended up finding a last set at a opg. Never checked to see who got them back in stock. Rumor was they might not reproduce the ones with the chrome piping anymore for the 68 certs.

The pic looks like the quarter glass fuzzy? does the OEM also have hole(s) in the door glass fuzzy? As I recall I was missing the drivers door outer fuzzy and put in a new repro fuzzy. The clips lined up perfectly with the slots in the door skin and the snapped in nicely. Didn't need a screw IMO as it was held fast but if I saw that the original had one I'd be inclined to put it back in too.
