Just got home from Pearl Harbor (went out for the 75th anniversary of the attack) and read this. It's a fear of mine too, that someone will hit me, as I enjoy driving my car too.

I would mention this to your adjuster. I'm sure Hagerty will pay for flatbed service to get a temporary repair done to make the car driveable. I'm sure you could probably bend it yourself to gain the clearance necessary - but it would be better to let a professional do it.

Steps 1 and 2 have gone just as I expected. Hopefully the rest of the process goes as smoothly and you have your car back from paint hell soon.
