They weren't in the parade. If they were out there, maybe they participated in the Pearl Harbor Mass Band performance earlier in the day.
I'm planning to start a separate thread with some photos from the Diamondhead WWII observation bunker taken on Dec 5th, some from Pearl Harbor taken on Dec 6th when I toured the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri and some from the parade on Dec 7th.
It was truly humbling to be out there for this historic anniversary. All 5 USS Arizona survivors were there - the oldest was Ray Chavez - 104 years old... James Downing, the second oldest (only 103) was one of the speakers at the opening ceremony for the parade - very excellent speaker with a solid message.
