Two little things today.
I emailed my Hagerty adjuster (Michigan) the other day asking a few questions and got back an automated response that he'd be back today. He answered my questions and also noted that he hadn't got the initial estimate back yet. He'd send it to me when he did and we'd go over it.
One of the things that's bothered me about this whole deal is that the car is undrivable due to the wheel well lip being pushed over the tire. I was taking some stuff out of the trunk last night and it occurred to me that the spare tire was substantially narrower and the same diameter. I just mounted it and I can now drive the car. I have Blazer rear disc brakes and the spare is a 14" Cragar. The caliper clears but barely. Issue? The tire is 10 years old.
