Engine rebuild was tedious and meticulous. Things started looking up for the YE until finally dyno day arrived December 29, 2016.

This is my second engine to be built by Jim. The results for the YE are extremely similar to the '72 TA WD that we dyno'd in 2013. Those results are posted on page 93 of the 455 HO Forum:

http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...538654&page=93

During our day in the dyno, in addition to recording the results of the performance of the YE, we also did some experimentation with exhaust equipment testing OEM manifolds, Hooker Super Comp. headers and the infamous Ron Watt Tribal Tri Y headers. Those results will be posted in a new thread on the forums in the coming days.

Finally, results for the YE:
7042270 carb with CE rods (CR is stock but the engine ran lean so CE's helped by about 10HP)
38 degrees BTDC timing
Horsepower: 475 HP Torque: 541 ft-lbs

We could not be happier with the results. An unbelievable build. Thank you Jim Robertson!!
