I've owned 2 original RA 4 spd cars and neither had the solenoids but had the same original vacuum advance metal tubes.

We have had discussions about whether '69 RAIII cars got the solenoids, but most everyone, as far as I can tell, believes that they did not get them. I have hooked one up to my 69' RAIII 4-speed, and it works. But it apparently did not get one. And the metal vacuum line clears the solenoid with the bracket I have.
Can you somehow document any 69 RAIII's having one from the factory? Were they A/C cars?
