Most NOS remote mirrors you see on eBay in recent years are incorrect, they are the version that was used on post cars that still had vent windows. When you install them on hard-tops or convertibles they fit but they look weird because they are tilted with way to ok much angle because they were meant to be set farther back on the door behind the vent window.

You can spot these post sedan mirrors because unlike the correct hardtop-convertible remote mirror that had studs to mount it to the door the post-vent window version uses the bracket and set screw like the non remote mirror.
