My dad designed the frame for what would have been the 2nd generation Fiero (the "P2") while he was in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering for CPC.
It was an aluminum spaceframe construction adhesively bonded together.
It was the first frame within General Motors to pass the durability test on the first try (it broke the shaker).
