i'm in the '67 camp, as well. keys reasons would be the mesh grill (looks awesome and more aggressive), the improved taillights, and the softer 'roll' of the rear quarters into the tail panel. the '66 console itself is cool, but the combo of that console and the wood dash inlay just doesn't look as good as the dual wood units in the '67. also prefer the front nose panel ending above the bumper and the trim wrapping down and around the nose and back towards the headlights. my dad had a '67 convertible when i was a young kid, so i've always been a '67 fan.
