I've done 165 in the LeMans 'brick' several times, and 140+ on many occasions. Done close to 180 (175+) in the T/A. You'd be surprised how well they stay 'grounded'!

The big jump is from 180 to 200mph, that barrier is hard to break. That's where aero makes the biggest difference. And you need a considerable jump in power too.
