I noticed that even though they have a tig rig that when they were tacking in cage parts they were using a spool gun. Pretty odd for steel I thought, unless they'd needed multiple guys using multiple welders. Tool of last resort maybe?
Or no other mig gun?
We generally only use the spool gun for thicker Aluminum.
