Got the hood scoop wire mesh inserts painted today.





Also got a test panel for the second pass at matching the paint done. I think we have a good match!





The spot on the driver side front fender turns out to be rust! Looks like we'll be cutting that out and patching. That means blending color across the hood and top of the fender, then clearing. We have to patch the passenger front fender after removing the antenna, so we'll try to keep it the same on that side. We won't do any color on the sides of the car except down on the bottoms of the fenders, the rockers and the quarters.



What was the purpose of this plastic piece at the base corners of the windshield?



It is missing on the driver side but you can see the screw that held it. Are these available from anyone?
