I have a 74 Formula 455 I'm in the process of freshening. See thread in this section.
One of the things I want to do on this car is change the gauge cluster to make it match the car I owned in 1975. That car had the WW8 option "Gauge -CL + TA" which had the small clock set within the tachometer dial face. The car I am freshening came with the W63 option "Rally GA&CL" which just had the large Rally Clock where the tachometer goes.
My question is can I make this change by simply ordering a reproduction Tachometer/Clock gauge like this one:

Or this one:

...and then simply swapping the clock with the tachometer - or will it require changing out the entire cluster? Also, will the printed circuit that came in my current car have the correct circuit to run the tachometer or will it require a new circuit?
Last question: What was the Redline for the 74 Formula 455 D-Port cars?
Thanks,
BJ
