Yeah, i just did some Googling. Most of the lists I saw are obviously bogus. And some of the cars are probably super tuned, & some are not totally factory showroom stock.
Don't know how you could ever prove that any of the times were anywhere close to what a factory example would have run.
The only thing I know for sure is that my '69 GTO RA3 ran mid 13's with sticky drag tires. This was after just over 60k street miles. The engine was bone stock, except for a replacement timing chain set. The car still had the original close ratio Muncie & 3.90 gears.
So, that means that a 4-speed RAIV Goat, with 4.33 gears & sticky tires, should have run real low 13's & maybe even dipped into the 12's, with a real good tune.
