There is a fender xtension that the header panel butts up to. it is different from 66 to 67. The exposed painted part of the extension piece is only approx 1" wide.
This extension piece spot welds to the inner fender along the front of the fender. I can either remove the entire piece by removing approx 6 spot welds and re spot weld or just cut off the 1" exposed part of the 66 tab and weld the 67 one on.
I was just asking which option would be the easiest.
Im sure someone has converted the 66 fender like this to 67.
I can get photos if needed
