Those were the early alu blocks,the later (60s-70s)were cast at or for the factory.I have owned 2 of them.I believe at least 6 got out.A friend of Tom Vaughts told me he got them from the scrap.One of mine was machined but had casting flaws,the other was raw and was finally finished by KRE.Both are running engines now.Tom
