The engine is back from the machine shop. I had it rebuilt using the date-code-correct WC block I bought. It's bored .060 over and the stock crank cleaned up at 10/10. I installed new forged rods and pistons, zero decked the block, and used a custom grind cam (Clay Smith Cams), complete valve job with all new valves, etc... The compression ratio is right at 9 to 1.
