You can size the pressure stage to your needs. The scavenge sections do not make any appreciable psi so they add negligible loss. How much more power do they take? Not much, you can prime your engine with 1/2 hp electric drill motor.

My question for John would be .Does the class he runs legally let him run a dry sump?
