Yea, but at 275/50R15, I seem to have only 2 choices: Nitto and Hoosier. But the latter tire has this footnote, which scares me for my street car:
"Hoosier D.O.T. drag radials are designed and approved for D.O.T. class racing only. They are not approved, nor recommended for any kind of street use."
I suppose I could change the size a bit if I was to buy a dedicated tire. a 275/60R15 fits, but that may hurt my launch a bit too given that I've got a mismatch M21 and 3.42 rear. I really felt the difference when I had the taller tire under there.
oh wait, if I wanted a dedicated tire, I could go with the Hoosier! doh!
But I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll get to the track and see what happens with what I have.
