Tri-Power/Six Pack corrections and Big Block corrections should be politely made IMO. Many don't know and would prefer to know going forward. The same can be said for the decal.

I can tell you that I wasn't always a Pontiac guy, although I love them now. I started off with a Mopar, then learned all I could about them (before the www came about). I moved on to a 72 GP with a Tri-Power, but after that I was into newer metal cars for a long time which always served as a DD'er as well as a hobby.

Then after many years without a classic muscle car, I got back into it with a 68 LeMans (with a GTO hood and Judge spoiler I might add). I learned A LOT about Pontiacs, and I just might know more than most (present company excluded). It's what I do, I love stuff, so I want to learn all I can about them, especially when that stuff IS MINE!

If no one ever told me that the air cleaner decals were not a Pontiac thing, I would have assumed they were (based on all those ebay ads at least! LOL) Many folks want to learn, but we need good teachers. Hell, just read all the threads on here started by average folks like me that are filled with answers from knowledgeable and very experienced folks. I want to hear all that first hand knowledge while it's still readily available!

So teach your children well!

ok, sorry, soapbox dismount now.
