If you have the Deeper Cap (probably the stock Melling Pump Cap on the pump and the Butler cap is shallower (with the same spring to compensate for the smaller ball installed in the Butler Pumps so debris does not hang them open) you basically put even less preload on the spring so the pressure went even lower.
You should have shallow cover, smaller diameter ball, and purple spring stock from Butler.
Then if you add a spring washer shim to that set-up you should be able to bump the oil pressure up even a bit more.
