Time for an update!
After nearly a year of sorting out major bugs after the 535 install .... glad to say I am fnally getting to drive this thing!
Mainly everything required mucho fabrication changes to safely accomodate the added power/torgue: Revised rear suspension to better adjustable shocks (QA1), Ditched the track locator for a custom panhard bar setup, new rear internals, c clip elim, 1/2" fuel system tank to pump, SS fuel line to carbs, upgraded all brakes & lines, master, booster, elec vacuum pump now required, 1.9 HP mini starter, revised the Maddog Headers collectors to band flange, new 3" 316 SS full exhaust with 3.5" QTP cutouts, New Steering box, pump, New Trans cooler & lines, solid Motor Mounts, Customized Pro Ractchet shifter to fit into stock 63 console, New Hood with SD Scoop & hole to clear Bath tub setup!
Litterally done the night before Norwalk ... had to clean and detail the car in the hotel parking lot for the Friday show!
Norwalk was a blast hanging with the fellow Little Indians ... and best of all ... my dream car (the one that inspried this sickness in me seeing it in '88 with Arnie driving it at Cordova) was at Norwalk ... the "Mule" Prototype 63 Super Duty Tempest (Bill Blair's old car) .... THANKS! Ken Freeman for bringing this treasure for me/everyone to drool over!
Ken was cool enough to park next to me for a photo op!
I even won 1st place in the Street Class catagory at the Norwalk judged show!
Now I need seat time to learn to control the wolf on the street.... My fab guy Scott said after a test drive .... in a very Non-PC way "this car is Retard fast and powerful" ... not meant to offend anyone here!
