Just some info for comparison.

Last night I observed oil and coolant temps on the '16 Charger in response to a hot call. Approximately 10-12 miles down interstate at ~120-130mph, then 3-4 miles through town and 2 lane roads, with periodic heavy acceleration (4K-6k rpm range most of the time)

Coolant temp peaked at 212.
Oil temp peaked at 244.

Under normal driving or idle condition, coolant is at 205-210 and oil is at 210-220.

I'm fairly confident the engine is filled with conventional oil. Currently at 26k miles. Car has heavy duty cooling system, but not sure about oil cooler.
