R12 is a better refrigerant for cooling than the ozone friendly R134a. Also, the A6 compressor is less efficient than the lighter weight Sanden styled rotary compressor.
I can't complain about the cooling capability of R134a systems, as all my vehicles have done just fine in the sweltering heat and humidity found in South Florida between April and November.
I'm hoping the new cooling system in my TA works like the other do as well.
