OK ... lost my storage and my friend was kind enough to allow me to use his barn while he moved his '73 Mach I Mustang to a friend's garage some 20 miles away. So now I'm forced to elicit help ... and get this moving quicker ... much quicker. We started piecing together about 3 weeks ago ... and I'm blown away by how many parts are on the car! LOL
So without further ado ... and remember I've never done anything like this before so be gentle ...
This is my last day to work on the car in the garage that I had for the past 4 years ... it's going to be moved that same day about 4 weeks ago ...
(1) Rear window in ... original. I was going to install the original windshield but they recommended that it wasn't up to snuff and I wouldn't be happy. Ordered a new one and it's already here but I'll have it installed later.
(2) Engine unveiled for the first time in a long time (other than my semi-regular rotating of the engine to move the oil around).
(3) Motor Mounts installed and the starter is installed. Notice we use the original starter brace. Too many cars have them taken off and never put back on. I'm thinking that it's a good thing to have.
(4) Bellhousing is on and engine is going to be bolted in. Notice that the Value Covers aren't in mint condition. Those are the originals and they will be replaced in later pictures from the following couple of weeks. Engine went in with no issues and bolted up just fine.
Will load up more tonight or tomorrow ...
