My kids love the GTO but I guarantee that when I'm gone, if it gives them a lick of trouble it will get sold. All their friends are the same -- musclecars are super cool but need to have the reliability and economy of a new car to appeal to the next generation. If it dies at a light nobody will know what to do. That's why the restomod idea is so appealing to me -- it might enable future generations to enjoy what we all take for granted.
