Piston to wall clearance
You guys ok with .004? I knows its a bit loose but SRP website says 4-4.2 bore 2-25thou and 4.2-4.4 bore 3-35thou. Adding .001-.003 for boost or nitrous. I'm at 4.185 using common sense I think 4 is fine but my machine shop wants new pistons and 40 over bore.
Positive and negatives. New piston will cure my questionable compression but I didn't plan on 900$+ extra for pistons and boring. Taking my roller cam money away!
