I have used the PH filters in my daily drivers for decades with ZERO issues. Yes, they are an inexpensive filter. However, 99.9% of the time there is a "filter" failure, it was due to the user. Yes, the HP filters are a better filter than the PH filter. And while on the subject, the K&N and the Mobil1 filters are the same filter. The Mobil1 just doesn't come with a nut welded to the bottom.
