this is how the production flight hangar at Textron aviation defense does it. I made mine of wood there on the right copied from the flight hangar. the hangar ones are steel. tools on both sides, unit on wheels. best set up iv'e had, everything's right there to see and grab no drawers searching. I find that if i'm working along quickly I grab the "right" tool for the job because its easy to get to rather than searching here and there. and easy to pull it over to where i'm working.
