That was a super expensive car in 1979. Probably sat on the showroom floor for a few months.
I see it cost $90 for the W72, and since cruise was typically part of the 10th anniversary package and not available with the manual trans, the credit for cruise delete was $103 for a net discount of $13 for opting for the Pontiac engine and 4 speed. Good deal I'd say.
