I'm way too new to cars to know what could have caused this. HWYSTR455 or grivera may know. Paul Carter (gtofreek) built this motor for me and I have all the faith in the world in him. I do know that these rockers were in the previous motor that I had and to Paul, they appeared to be fine prior to installation. Honestly, I didn't even know what a rocker was until HWYSTR455 pointed it out to me. I don't blame Paul at all for this. I figure this may be a good discussion for guys on the forum. I'm interested in reading different opinions. I'm still learning about these old cars.

It does look like the way the nut was positioned, the point of the nut was hitting the rocker.
