FWIW, manufacturers recommend changing wipers twice a year. I've had customers complain that their wipers only lasted 2-3 years! You should see the ones that come in here with rusty wiper frames.

Even if you don't use them, they still deteriorate. The ones on my LeMans were actually stuck to the glass from non-use.

I just had an idea though. What if someone invented "Wiper Booties"? A small bag that covers the wipers when not in use so they don't dry out from exposure. Any takers???
