Again, My experience with the vacuum secondary check ball in the vacuum housing ALWAYS took the larger ball that seemed to just fit into the pocket. Assume the same Holley tech who gave you the other incorrect info?? That very small ball is typically used in the Power Valve Protection hole in the base plate with a "bail" across the hole to keep it from falling out.
