I'll reword what I was getting at in previous post. Smaller port is to better accommodate 4.155 bore apps. Flows almost as much with a 2.15 valve smaller port as original larger valve/port. Yes the head is revised, to improve, not fix " undesirable flaws" . The bigger valve original CV fit bore size without clearance issues but many 4.155 bore apps simply didn't need the bigger valve .

BS, velocity sucked so you made it smaller after a few of the good head porters looked it over and then it was changed to a smaller port.
