I fully agree with you on this. I was in Norwalk and many people driving around anything with a motor. At this venue its a must if you want to see everything you possibly can.

We usually rent a golf cart so we can get from the show field to the far end of the pits in a short amount of time. I usually walk the swapmeet and show field so i can really see everything. There's a lot to see and in a short amount of time, so I can see these being used to save time, especially if you are a racer looking for parts between rounds or trying to get to the show field to look at cars.

The difference is at Norwalk we are all Pontiac people and are respectful of others and their property. This is not the case at a local car show where you are with a large majority of the stupid and inconsiderate people. I think charging those people at the gate will keep out a lot of the people who dont appreciate what it takes to have a nice classic car. Car people will pay the entrance fee, non car people will get a starbucks instead. Its a win win for everyone!
