My whole family, so our 3 kids, the married two with their partners, and our 4 grandchildren all went to Disneyworld at Christmas time 2016. Quite a treat for us.
What amazed us was the number of apparently reasonably fit people and some quite obese people riding motorised scooters. You can hire them there. So they would have a group sometimes maybe 4-5 people on scooters riding up to the rides, park them then stand in a queue for sometimes an hour (if you haven't pre-booked), then ride on to the next ride.
Some rides, they could sit on their scooter in the queue then park it, negotiate a pathway or steps to the ride, get off and fairly easily walk back to their scooters!!!

Sure, there were obviously handicapped people these and good on them for getting out and about and enjoying themselves but I can't help feeling that some of those hirers were just down right lazy.

Of course, a scooter is often handy because it has a basket in which you can load up huge cups of cola and popcorn. You need that to help get through the stresses of the day!!!
