Marquis gets the oil done @ 1000 miles only because I only drive 8 miles a day and it would take forever to hit 3000 miles. I run full syn. in that car also (5W20) I have access to comm. sales and buy in bulk along with the filters when there on special, so I'm not "wasting" money on oil changes. Something my Dad (RIP) drilled into my head was: Change your oil and filter when your supposed to, don't overheat your engine and you won't have too much trouble! This is a pic of a Camry I had with 274,000 miles on it. I changed the oil every 3000 miles with the filter. Vavoline!
Correct. If you keep clean oil and dont overheat, it will last until you are sick of driving it. Overheating is the number one killer of cars.
