Hang tough
It is frustrating working on the ropeshaft Pontiacs, because of the lack of replacement parts, but they can be repaired. Just takes more time and research.
I have been told the correct rear axle bearings that interchange on the 1963 Tempest models are the 1963-1967 Corvair bearings. Hang in there!!
