All the others are electronically disconnected. I don't own a smart phone, and don't think I ever will. Only have a flip phone for making....calls. I don't text. I may be a fossil at 57, but all of my time is my own and I don't miss many sunsets or other 'real' events!! VERY glad I grew up in the '60s--70's....and very glad I was taught by conservative teachers that had lived through the depression and served in WW2 who instilled character and integrity and can-do- attitudes in us kids.

I read more than almost anyone I know, and haven't bought a paper book in nearly a decade. Standalone kindle in maybe 2005 and the kindle app on my Ipad and IPhone for years since.

I grew up with a pacific theater WW2 vet in the house too, but I remember him more as teaching me to be a kind-hearted person than I do him instilling "conservative" values.
