my understanding was that L74 aircleaners had the hole plugged, but that Norwood/L78 cars never had the hole - that was the intent of that single point.
I believe this aircleaner is the original one for my acquired engine (which should have been built within 24 hours of my car*.)
This aircleaner has no hole, and still has the date stamp of "3 20 70" clearly visable.
* if by chance this aircleaner isn't from my replacemnt engine, it's from a Formula built just beforehand - I have the info recorded somewhere, but cannot recall where I stashed it.
