We did a 455 Super Duty a few years back with a larger 230/236 @ .050” roller cam that idled dead smooth clear down to 600 RPM’s even with only 8.8 to 1 compression.
Despite the smooth idle quality it made excellent power on the Dino for being so mild at a glance......Cliff
