I lived in Indiana for 5 years..and have been in Kansas City area now for 10...my work teritory is/was Illinois, Indiana, Cincy area, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Kansas and now Nebraska, Iowa, and S Dakota..so for decades of travel, you try to find "Home Style" food..or you'll go nuts
To find a spot that leaves an impression is not common..motel life can be challenging..so you find things to keep you occupied..cars and food for me...so as they say..."i get around" a little..
I have a burger dump in Wichita KS too...and not the famous one...i gotta think a little..i can drive there, but for the life of me cant remember the name right now....age is kicking me in the memory bank
