12 bolt axle
It is a Chevelle Axle made by McKinnon and originally installed on a Canadian 1969 Buick Skylark. All GM axles of that vintage used C Clips for axle retention. I do not think the axle has been modified to a four bolt retention system. But I will check . The axle is in perfect running condition, just needs to be bolted onto a GM A body frame . I just removed the axle from my 1969 GTO Judge which is a Show Car because the axle is incorrect for the car, Pontiac did not install 12 bolt axles until 1970.
