I don’t think Pontiacs we’re equipped with spreaders OEM.
As regards the CAD design ... man overboard!
You are merely clamping down a sheet metal or cast aluminum valve cover. The thin “spring” style ones work fine and are only needed on valve covers already distorted from over tightening.
