I was going to buy the Vega until I saw that the Pinto was a Pearlescent white so, as a kid, I had to have it over the yellow. The bad part is that because the Pinto was so cool looking I never fired it up. Had I had bought the Vega I probably would have wore the tires out on it.

I don't know if you or anyone knows but these two Funny Cars would pop a chute and shut down at the end of their run.

Mine was a hand me down from a cousin. But, it seemed by the early 80s hobby stores didn’t have parts for them and I put it back in the box.
Seems there’s plenty of parts on e-bay.
