I like the Fantom Works show less and less every time I see it. It's gotten to the point that I'll change the channel when it comes on. His phony "anger" at the condition of incoming cars, his ridiculous pricing ("we're gonna need at least $30k worth of parts to make your '76 Oldsmobile roadworthy"), and the staffs lack of mechanical skills have made it unbearable to watch. How many times has there been a car on there that has brake, steering or mechanical issues that seem to stump the mechanics at first- only to have it be something basic that any competent mechanic should pick up right away? Maybe it's made for TV drama, but it turns me off. And the arrogance- might as well be watching Graveyard Cars, another one I can't watch.
