Speaking of Aluminum Rods. Bill Miller rods are used in Funny Car engine that Mike G and Eric L race. Mr Miller makes a fine aluminum rod and they have been used on street drivven engines for years without durability issues.
GRP Rods are great Drag Race Rods. I would not put them in my Street Driven Engine as way overkill for a street boosted application.
Bring it George and tell me that GRP rods are better vs Bill Miller Rods.
Mike and Eric run 6.0s with Miller Rods.

"Take your time this is the ONLY time"........ I will agree with Tom!

GRP is one of the best aluminum rods out there so YES it would make a GREAT street rod.....this isn't 20 years ago, aluminum rods have change leaps and bounds! There is also nothing wrong with Bill Miller rods......I NEVER said there was, I just prefer GRP's!
Ive been RACING with Forced Induction for around 30 years with 3 different types of Roots Blowers (4 if I count the blower in my Wifes TA) in that time I've used 4 different types of steel rods (Factory cast w/good rod bolts......455 SD rods.........Eagles H beam and Oliver rods and the BEST move I made was going to GRP aluminum rods (Thank You KRE). My bearings are looking WAY better with the Aluminum rods then with ANY of the steel rods I've used. FYI! Remember Performerpm spend the MONEY and do it right the first it will last longer!
