I tried that. Does not help on Michelins. I have also heard a few wive's tales like Bleche White and Armor-All causes dry-rot, so I stopped using Bleche White and any tire shine. No difference.

I think Michelin figures that their tires don't wear out so they had to come up with a way of selling new ones some how.
