For some reason I thought the 301 manifolds would work on a traditional Pontiac.
Years and Years ago, I had a pair of JR Round Port Headers that adapted a D-Port head to a Round Port Header. That header system was extremely easy to install/take apart and it used a pair of exhaust manifold 3/8 inch adaptor flanges that bolted on to the head first.

Then the Headers bolted on.

So when the 301 Turbo Engine came out I ordered two of the passenger side manifolds and
it also had the extra bolt at the top of the center exhaust ports, like the JR Headers.

So I just copied what JR headers did and made adaptor flanges to match the heads and the Pontiac Turbo manifolds and bolt positions. No issues with making them work. Problem is the manifolds are not out there any longer.

After that exercise I was able to purchase a pair of factory 1963/1964 Experimental center discharge manifolds that went upward with the exhaust to the RAJAY Turbo Flanges.
Those manifolds were later sold as part of a set of Turbo parts to Randy Williams before he died.

SO Johnny406, it is possible to make those manifolds work on a normal D-port head with a bit of fabrication.
